South Woodham Ferrers Village Hall is a large multi-purpose complex set in 5 acres of open space, located on Hullbridge Road on the north side of the town approximately 150 metres north of the Railway Station. Adjacent to the Village Hall are the separately managed Playing Field and children's play areas.
The Village Hall's main purpose is for the recreation of local residents and community groups/clubs in South Woodham Ferrers and the surrounding area.
With the expansion of South Woodham Ferrers over the last 30 years it is not surprising that many people do not realise that there is a Social Club facility, including a licensed bar run by a separate Trading Company, located at the rear of the Village Hall.
The Social Club bar is there to support the hall users, associated clubs and its members and provides a warm welcoming environment to relax and socialise.
The Social Club welcomes new members, so come along any time to see for yourselves. On behalf of the Social Club, Ciaran (the manager) and his team would like to thank all our regular clientele for their continuing support and extend a warm welcome to all coming to see us for the first time.
