With the expansion of SWF over the last 25 years or so it is not surprising that many people do not realise that there is a bar facility in the Village Hall. The bar has evolved over many years in conjunction with the hall and had its last major refurbishment four years ago. At all times the bar has been there to support the hall users, associated clubs and its members to provide a warm welcoming environment to relax and socialise. New members are always welcome so come along any time to see for yourselves. On behalf of the Bar Directors, Ken (the manager) and his team we would like to thank all our regular cliental for their continuing support and extend a warm welcome to all coming to see us for the first time.
The SWFVH Management Committee is pleased to announce that Ray Durrant has been invited to bring back his promotion and entertainment skills to functions throughout the coming year.
Welcome back Ray, we all look forward to great things at the Village Hall.
South Woodham Ferrers Village Hall is a large
multi-purpose complex, set in 5 acres of open space, adjacent to Hullbridge
Road on the north side of the town; about 150 metres north of the town's Railway
Station.
Its main purpose is for the recreation of local residents and community
groups/clubs in South
Woodham
Ferrers and
the surrounding area.
However commercial bookings will always be considered.
